On behalf of the American Association of Law Libraries, I am pleased to invite the members of the Australian Law Librarians’ Association to our 103rd Annual Meeting and Conference, which will be held in Denver, Colorado, July 10-13, 2010.
The theme for this year’s conference is Summit 2010: Mapping Our Future. Reflecting this theme we are offering 66 educational programs and four workshops, as well as library tours, excursions and other special events. In addition to the educational programming, the conference offers an extensive Exhibit Hall with more than 190 booths. You will find more information at www.aallnet.org/events.
Please let your members know that they are invited to register for our conference at the AALL Member Discount rate here: www.aallnet.org/events/10_registration.asp. Queensland Government Agency Libraries Review
I recently learned about the Queensland Government Agency Libraries Review and its key objective is to "present a number of options that consider and address the need for efficient, cost-effective and equitable library and research services for core agencies in the Queensland Government."
It would be interesting to hear your comments regarding Library Reviews in general and to share any experiences you have had with a review. In particular, what were the outcomes of the review?

National Membership Model Discussion
Members of the Consultative Committee have been working hard in engaging their members to provide comment on the draft Constitution. This is a very exciting time for ALLA where members will cast their vote on the membership model at the 2010 ALLA AGM. What are your thoughts on the proposal? Do you think ALLA will move to a national membership model?
